One of the best radio shows on the LA radio was Divine Forces Radio. It began as Seditious Beats by Fidel Rodriguez then known as Fidel X, airing in the early Saturday morning hours  in 1998 on the now defunct 92.3 The Beat. Moving to KPFK 90.7 fm in early 2000's and renamed Divine Forces Radio the show featured nothing but high quality underground Hip Hop along with conscious raising discussions with guests such as Shaolin monk Shifu Shi Yan Ming to Jordan Maxwell to LA Sheriff Lee Baca. It was definitely one of the kind to say the least.

The regular roster of deejays of DJ Orator,Icy Ice,C Breeze, & DJ Counterstryke would be joined by a guest deejay every now and again. Many of The Beat Junkies along with DJ Revolution all performed live on the show from time to time.

Now this guest mix by DJ Noez is one the few mixes on the net of the DFR. Sadly after leaving KPFK in 2008 DFR tried to start an online show but it never gained much traction. For you all lovers of Hip Hop do yourself a favor and grab this piece of history and add it your collection.
