NYC's DJ Spinbad made one of my favorite mixes of all time Needle To the Groove (HERE). However, the general rule about most mixtape deejays is most can't deliver the quality performance you hear on their mixtapes live. I may be bias but generally west coast deejays don't seem to suffer from this problem. However DJ Spinbad is rare exception to the rule.
