A few days ago on March 30 it would have been DJ AM's 38th birthday. In celebration of his life Philly's DJ Mighty Mi of famed Hip Hop group The High & Mighty dropped two mixes in honor of his long time friend.

"Julius Errrrving (Philly Hip Hop)" was played on the BPM channel on Siruis radio's DJ AM tribute weekend back on March 4th to March 6th of this year. It features as the title suggests nothing but 80's & 90's Philly Hip Hop.

"Live @ Seville Row" recorded on March 30 2011 at Saville Row in Las Vegas is a live mix of Hip Hop and RnB/HipHhop blends with the last 10 minutes having some electro tunes.

Both mixes are pretty spectacular. I never heard Mighty Mi spin before hearing these mixes. I shouldn't been surprised by Mighty's skill being he's Philly deejay but now my appetite is whet to hear his Larger Professor mix.
