Since I can't do any better I'll let DJ somaR explain his new mix.

This is my first themed mix in a while; in any case, recently I caught wind of dude selling vinyl for $1.00 per record. The pic in the Craigslist add was a dope bookshelf full of records, so I was pumped to do some digging. I hit him up and after a couple days of texts he told me to meet him in the parking lot of a Gordman's; he would be in the silver minivan. On my way there, I got this weird feeling, like dude was going to club me over the head and toss me in the back of his van to be his gimp or something like that, but for the promise of vinyl, I kept heading that way.

This is an example of why, even though I'm primary on Serato, I still love digging there is nothing like getting your records home and hearing what you found, be them from some dingy pawn shop, a random record store you visit while you're out of town, or the back of some dude's minivan. So, this is an ode to digging and to those who still dig; I'll never stop. Thanks for listening, enjoy.
