Chicago's 1991 US DMC Champion Pumpin Pete just released this mix of some steller newer tunes. No tracklist but trust me there are plenty of good tunes with that classic boom bap sound in the mix.

Also to note representing Vocalo Collective Pete along with his crew mates just started the process of eliminating finalists in their "Quest For The Best" DJ competition. And who is one of finalists? A name DSFL readers you should know....RRS Feed's DJ Shred One.

One more thing to note many on net seem to think  Pete won the DMC US Champion twice when in reality he only won once. He lost to DJ Baby G in 1990. With so many exaggerations floating around the web concerning Hip Hop (Russel Simmons the "Godfather Of Hip Hop"??) we have keep the facts straight. Let's not let people with big egos distort our history.
