Broke - Butter 4.0

The word Butter was used during the 90's to describe something "great" and smooth. Now I wouldn't call this mix by Australia's DJ Broke great by any means but the tunes are pretty good. Most are on the slow tempo head noddin tip.

Although I wouldn't consider this mix fantastic by any means The New Yorker's Sasha Frere-Jones saw fit to include it on his blog (HERE). With so many fantastic mixes floating around the web it's kind of odd for this one mix to be included in such upper class highly regarded blog.

Anyways Butter 4.0 is may not become your favorite mix of 90's Hip Hop but it is worth a listen or I wouldn't post it. Plus you got give props to Broke for dropping many tunes other 90's mixes don't contain.
